Teriyaki Glazed Salmon
Pan-seared salmon fillets glazed in a sweet and savoury Japanese teriyaki sauce.
Teriyaki salmon is one of those weeknight dinners that feels far more impressive than the effort required. The four-ingredient glaze caramelises into a gorgeous lacquered finish. On the table in 20 minutes.

Mix soy, mirin, sake, and sugar until sugar dissolves

Pat salmon dry; season lightly with salt

Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium-high

Place salmon skin-side down; press gently; cook 4 minutes until skin is crispy

Flip and cook 2 minutes on flesh side

Pour teriyaki sauce into the pan around the salmon
7
Cook 2–3 minutes spooning sauce over salmon as it bubbles and thickens
8
Serve over steamed rice topped with spring onions and sesame seeds
